But I also don't think the crowd is bad necessarily.
This means the crowd might be more rude and pushy or have more medical emergencies than EDC or Beyond Wonderland. Escape and Countdown both tend to draw more of the college holiday crowd than the dedicated raver crowd other festivals get. If you liked Escape, I think you will like Countdown. There’s a bunch more stuff that I’m forgetting but VIP is the way to go imo to enjoy it more. We saw someone pull out a pair of EDC VIP tix. Plus it’s super nice to snag a table for your drink and bag, then dance around it with your group.įor hard summer they had $4 cooling towels and $8 beach towels, beyond had free sandwiches and desserts, hard had free popsicles, and they all had kandi stations with free supplies and a few of them have the VIP area tarped on the ground so less dust and you’re not standing just asphalt.įor countdown 2020, they had a scavenger hunt where you found free trinkets and there was also free festivals tickets buried in the sand. Express lines, more lax security, more room closer to the stage to dance, restrooms are easy access and not a complete disaster by the end of the night, food is quicker to get in VIP(and cheaper imo), they usually have freebies or cheap cool merch, free snacks and coffee/hot cocoa.
